With a degree in Languages by Feevale University, Jéssica Luana Bueno dos Santos received a scholarship from the University of New Mexico (UNM) in the United States. In August, she will begin her master's degree in Brazilian Literature and Culture and will teach Portuguese to undergraduate students (both American and other nationalities) from UNM.
Jessica believes that this experience will provide a great development as a student, researcher and teacher. "I see all this as part of a project that I started at the undergraduate level when I got in touch with academic research focused on literature," she says. After the master's degree, she intends to start a doctorate program to bring contributions to the cultural studies of Brazil in the future.
