Meeting held this Thursday, 30, promoted exchanges on research in the creative industry

The rector of Feevale University, José Paulo da Rosa, received on the morning of this Thursday, 30, the professor and researcher David Hesmondhalgh, from England. Also participating in the meeting were the pro-rector of Research, Postgraduate Studies and Extension, Fernando Spilki, the director of International and Institutional Relations, Paula Cundari, and the professor of Journalism and of the Postgraduate Program in Creative Industry, Vanessa Valiati.
A world reference in studies on cultural and creative industries, with a doctorate in sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a professor of Media, Music and Culture at the University of Leeds, Hesmondhalgh is one of the speakers at the seminar Culture on digital platforms: global perspectives, held this Thursday, the 30th, starting at 6 pm, in the Luis Cosme room, at Casa de Cultura Mário Quintana, in Porto Alegre. The event is promoted by the postgraduate programs in Creative Industry and in Cultural Processes and Manifestations at Feevale University.
