Rector of Feevale University was a panelist at an event on higher education in Serra Gaúcha

The challenges of proposing quality higher education in Brazil were the subject of a lecture by the rector of Feevale University, José Paulo da Rosa, on the morning of Friday, the 31st, at the University of Caxias do Sul. He was one of the panelists in the Education Now debate series, moderated by Deputy Patricia Alba, president of the Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Committee of the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Sul. The event aimed to address topics related to education and discuss the challenges and opportunities of higher education in the construction of the State and National Education Plans.
One of the points highlighted by José Paulo was the challenge of promoting quality and committed Distance Education (EAD). "It is the quality of education that makes the difference and generates social impact. We need to be prepared to offer students the conditions to exercise their skills at the end of their graduation," said the rector of Feevale. In addition to the rector of Feevale, Everaldo Cescon, pro-rector of Postgraduate Studies at UCS; Rodrigo Koch, regional director of Campus II of Uergs; Sabrina Kiszner, institutional attorney and coordinator of the CPA of Faccat; and João José Cunha, manager of the Sesi/Canoas School, also participated.
