A new solution was designed to improve management and promote greater fluidity and transparency

Feevale University has begun operating a new system focused on managing research, extension, and innovation projects. Integrated with the RM system, the Project Module was mapped by the Vice-Rector's Office of Research, Graduate Studies, and Extension (Proppex), in partnership with the technology company TOTVS, the Information Systems Center (CSI), and the Innovation Directorate. The tool aims to automate processes related to project management and improve the processes of proposing, evaluating, monitoring, finalizing, extending, and renewing projects. In addition to ensuring greater control, fluidity, and transparency, the module allows the registration and structured access to all information related to academic projects developed at the institution.

Currently, Feevale has approximately 200 ongoing projects, involving more than 100 faculty members and approximately 1,000 students. Faculty members involved in these initiatives are already being trained to use the new platform, which can be accessed through the Professors’ Portal.

The implementation of the Projects Module is part of the modernization of the University's academic and administrative systems, which has been promoting the replacement of tools since 2022, including the discontinuation of the Argus system. The new solution was designed to meet the specific needs of academic management, respecting institutional workflows and regulations.

All processes are regulated by a guideline from the Provost's Office of Research, Graduate Studies, and Extension (Proppex), which establishes a continuous flow for projects in the areas of research, extension, innovation, and integrated projects.
