The agreement was signed by the rector of Feevale University, José Paulo da Rosa, the national director of Academica International Studies, Andréa de Andrade, and the director of expansion of the North American institution, João Paulo Andrade. Also participating in the event were the pro-rector of Teaching at Feevale, Maria Cristina Bohnenberger, the principal of the Application School, Janaína Regra, and the director of International and Institutional Relations, Paula Casari Cundari. The Academica Dual Diploma program can start from the 8th grade of Elementary School and extended to High School. Internationally recognized, the North American network is present in more than 30 countries, bringing together around 1,300 schools and serving approximately 30,000 students worldwide. The educational proposal integrates academic, technological, and personal development, focusing on a global education.
English fluency and technological immersion
The program's activities will be carried out through the Colegia virtual platform, which provides recorded classes taught by native teachers, as well as individualized support and live meetings with students from different locations. All communication takes place in English, promoting linguistic and intercultural immersion.
The program will provide students at the Feevale Application School with the development of English fluency and technological immersion, using advanced digital learning tools and the encouragement of autonomy, time management, responsibility, and adaptability to multicultural contexts. The workload is flexible and organized according to each student's pace, ranging from two to six hours per day. According to the principal of the Feevale Application School, Janaína Regra, the initiative reinforces the institution's commitment to an education aligned with the demands of the contemporary world.
“To educate is preparing students for the world, which today demands comprehensive training, a global vision, and intercultural skills. Seeing our students achieve dual degrees is witnessing dreams being expanded and futures being built with solidity, ethics, and excellence,” she highlights. The principal also emphasizes that Feevale Application School remains committed to offering innovative pedagogical projects, strengthening partnerships that add value to students' education.
