Decision is based on improving epidemiological indicators
From January 3rd, 2022, the academic activities of undergraduate and graduate teaching, research and extension will return fully in person at Feevale University. The measure was announced on November 1st, in a statement to students, professors and employees of the Institution.
The decision is based on the improvement of epidemiological indicators, such as the significant decrease in the transmission rate of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, admissions to ICUs and deaths caused by the coronavirus, due to the increase in the vaccinated population. Maintaining these conditions, Feevale believes that it will be possible to resume full face-to-face activities.
Due to the pandemic, on March 17th 2020, Feevale migrated all its academic and administrative activities to the online modality. In all these months, however, the University has taken a leading role in society with several actions to combat Covid-19, ranging from the manufacture of PPE and research to carrying out tests and supporting more than 40 municipalities in the region.
Feevale also informed that the safety protocols will be maintained and updated in accordance with the guidelines of the health authorities. The Institution is also organizing with representatives of the entire chain of services – restaurants, snack bars, drugstore, public and private transport, among others – so that they can resume serving the academic community on the three campuses.
Full attendance is considered by Feevale to be great news at the end of last semester. “In addition to bringing new hope of resuming face-to-face meetings in the new year, this decision, at the end of 2021, gives time for everyone to get organized for 2022. Complete your studies well, and may the New Year be happy, colorful, and full of life, as our Feevale is here with you”, says the statement.
