Production process of ecological panel for civil construction and resulting ecological panel

Abstract: The present invention belongs to the technological sector of civil construction and refers to the production process of an ecological panel applicable to the construction of walls, partitions, ceilings, among others, by using recycled long-life cartons and the respective resulting product. In view of the amount of industrial waste, as well as the high cost of production and the high consumption of non-renewable resources of current panels, the present invention proposes the use of long-life cartons as thermo-acoustic insulators instead of making use of polyurethane, stone wool, glass wool, or other materials. Furthermore, the present invention uses, as its main component, a layer of specially developed light mortar with a compound obtained through the extrusion of EVA waste and textiles covered with polyurethane, Portland cement, water and sand, constituting a monolithic material instead of using plasterboard. Furthermore, due to the panel of the present invention being a single block, its assembly is faster and more practical.

Process for obtaining cationic homogeneous membranes for electrodialysis

Abstract: The present invention belongs to the materials engineering technology sector and refers, more specifically, to a process for obtaining cationic homogeneous membranes through sulfonation. These membranes are applicable in the industrial and domestic effluents and public water supply sectors, resulting in a new method for preparing homogeneous ion exchange membranes for the assembly of electrodialysis equipment. The process in question basically consists of the sulfonation of PPO and subsequent formation of the films. Thus, the invention patent aims at proposing a solution to the high cost of homogeneous cation exchange membranes present in the current Brazilian market, due to the fact that there are no companies in Brazil that develop and produce these membranes competitively.

Separator and membrane for electrodialysis equipment and its assembly process

Abstract: The present invention belongs to the technological sector of effluents treatment, and refers, more specifically, to a new form of production and assembly of a set of membranes/flow separators (A)(B) to be used in electrodialysis equipment (EDR). In order to remedy the inconveniences in the current state of the art, the proposed invention presents a flow separator connected to the cationic membrane (B) and another separator/anionic membrane (A). The invention proposes coupling the ion-selective membranes with the flow separators that are used in EDR equipment for use in industrial and urban water and effluent treatment systems, enabling the quick and safe assembly of the equipment. Thus, the proposed invention is a technological advance for the assembly of electrodialysis systems, more specifically the electrodialysis cell, known as stack, which is basically formed by a set of anionic and cationic membranes arranged alternately between two electrodes (...)

Process for the production of recycled lightweight aggregate from wet-blue leather waste incorporated in polypropylene and preparation of cement matrices with the lightweight aggregate

Abstract: The present invention belongs to the technological sector of construction materials applied to civil engineering and refers, more specifically, to the process of producing recycled lightweight aggregate (RLA) produced from wet blue leather waste incorporated in polypropylene and the preparation of cement matrices by using the RLA. The proposed cement matrix partially replaces the natural fine aggregate (sand) by the RLA. The main objective of the invention is to provide a reduction in the environmental impact caused by the inadequate disposal of wet blue leather waste and also to contribute to the reduction of the forwarding of these wastes to industrial waste landfills. The RLA can be used as a fine lightweight aggregate for civil construction, as its specific mass is less than 2.0 g/cm³, reducing the specific mass resulting from the cement matrix in the dry state, without losing the essential properties necessary for its use as a non-structural element for civil construction, such as sealing blocks, partitions and lining.

Process for the production of regenerative membranes for treating injuries

Abstract: The present invention belongs to the technological sector of tissue engineering and refers, more specifically, to the development of tissue regenerative membranes composed from polysaccharide derivatives and their respective production process. The invention aims to add improvements to chitosan membranes used as temporary substitutes for injuries, without excessively increasing the production cost. For this, chitosan/k-carrageenan membranes were made with phycocolloid extracts from residues of Nori algae. Biomass was converted into a value-added product, meeting social and environmental requirements, making it more accessible to the majority of the population who need such assistance. Membranes formed from polyelectronic complexes with phycocolloid extract are more ductile due to the plasticizing characteristics of phycocolloid, in addition to presenting a greater thermal stability and roughness, resulting in a film with good potential to be used in(...)
