On Friday, November 10th, Feevale University signed a cooperation agreement with IST-Hochschule für Management-University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, Germany. The rector of the Institution, Inajara Vargas Ramos, the pro-rector of Research and Extension, João Sganderla Figueiredo, and the director of International Affairs, Paula Casari Cundari were present at the agreement signature event. Along with the agrrement signature, the schedule of shared activities for next semester was discussed, in addition with the confirmation of an invitation for German professors to visit Feevale in 2018.

Feevale’s new partner is a University of Applied Sciences, with an emphasis in management and business. The institution offers undergraduate and graduate courses as well as short-term courses in the areas of health and wellness, sports management, tourism and hospitality, communication and management. The German University is located in Düsseldorf, an important economic and cultural center, in the Rhine region. The city is considered the center of international fairs as well as the fashion capital of Germany.

Ongoing the mission, the authorities of the Institution will be attending the International Strategic Seminar – Beyond Alliance for Knowledge at VIA University College. The event, which is taking place from November 13th to 15th, brings together the strategic partner universities in international cooperation, being part, besides Feevale, Häme University of Applied Sciences (Hamk), of Finland, and the host institution of this year. In the occasion, the partners will be presenting results of research conducted at their universities, as well as analyzing and carrying out the planning for the next actions to be taken of all the partners institutions. One of the faculties of Feevale, Fernando Spilki, will be also attending the seminar. On day 17th, the group is visiting the University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
