Ever since a little girl, Disney has been a passion for the Feevale University Chiropractic professor, Thiana Paula Schmidt dos Santos, and, over the years, it has become her a hobby. This year, the professor is only Brazilian to be part of the Disney Parks Moms Panel, a program developed to provide help for tourists’ vacation planning questions as well as tips and ideas about the parks, tours, hotels and all the other services available there.

Thiana is an expert at supporting tourists with information, both in English and Portuguese languages, to make the most out when it comes to the Walt Disney Resort, in Orlando. However, she is the only Panelist for Brazilians whose destination is Disney. ‘It's really nice to be in touch with something I enjoy. My father has always been a huge fan of it and his passion had been passed to me. All of it has started because I used to be the go-to vacation planner in my family, always helping family and friends, so, I decided to apply for the program. I actually got really surprised for having been selected the first time I tried. It is, sure, a rewarding experience’, she reports. Thiana, besides being a Feevale University professor, is an Advisor for the Director of International Affairs (DRI). 

 

The program, which reaches its tenth edition this year, is focused on searching people from all over the world, whoever expert consumers and eager to share their expertise about Disney universe, as well as to support inexperienced visitors. As a planning tool the program is available in four languages (English, Spanish, French and Portuguese), being as well a multilingual resource to be used by tourists in order to satisfy any parks trip-planning need. Once families wish to organize these types of trips, they will find everything about restaurants and reservations, birthday celebrations, and even tips and ideas to meet Disney’s characters.
